Joe Grady Tuck

A seventh-generation Bastrop County resident and 1969 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Joe Grady Tuck took office in 1972 as the elected District Attorney of the 216th Judicial District — six Central Texas counties — at age 26, the youngest elected prosecutor in the nation.

Half a century of practice spanning the courtroom and the boardroom.

Co-founder of a publicly traded cable advertising company and of the Bank of Kerrville; longtime owner of title companies; professor of law at Schreiner University and Chapman University's graduate school. Active today on the boards of the Bastrop Opera House and the Bastrop County Historical Society.
